Today we went to Central Market with two other couples. Central Market is a must go place if you are ever in Guatemala City. It has at least 3 underground levels. You can see some of the fruits and vegetables they sell in the top photo. Hermana Pitcher loves the bright colors when arranged in the displays. How many of the fruits can you name? We know there are many we can't name. Today we bought a fruit called granadia or Elder Pitcher used to call them, snot balls. It looks like an orange pomegranate on the outside and has slimy little fish egg looking things on the inside. It tastes okay. In the market they also sell meats, fresh flowers, clothing, pottery, textiles, and crafts of all kinds. You could spend hours there, but we don't because Elder Pitcher wears out quickly.
   Middle photo: On our walk today before Central Market, we  walked by this house, which we had done many times and never noticed the door shape. The best part of it today was that the little door was open and there were several little children going inside. The moms were dropping them off to preschool. It was so cute. We stood and watched and smiled for quite a while.
   Bottom photo: These are water bottles being delivered house to house. This man loads 25 bottles on the cart, each weighing 45 pounds, and delivers them. He was really cute to pose for the picture. Notice his muscles.   
   Elder Pitcher enjoys chatting with people on the streets as we walk each day. We are becoming fast friends with many along our walking route. Even the guards at the President's house (President of Guatemala) wave, smile, and say hi to us.
   We are looking forward to some of our family members coming down in January for a visit. We're busily planning and we think they will have a great time.
   We are so grateful for all the prayers from home in our behalf. We can feel the strength of them here with us.
