18 Agosto, 2014

We find ourselves in a state of uncertainty. We still are at the CCM. We are expecting to find out what will happen with Pres. and Hermana Cox tomorrow. Once that is determined then we will feel a little more settled, but for the moment we just keep doing what we are asked to do.
A few weeks ago, we spoke with our Stake President back home. His son was looking for an Eagle project. We had a few suggestions for them. One of which involved getting shoes for some the missionaries that come to the CCM without much of anything. They went to work and collect some 90 pairs of shoes and some cash contributions. It just so happened that a family from home was coming here to pick up their son from his mission. This family came today and dropped of their gifts.
It was a treat to see them and exciting to see some many shoes given.

Here we are with them in front of the CCM.
This is one of 3 piles shoes that arrived here to bless the lives of many of the Lord's servants. This is change week. We have about 75 missionaries leaving Tuesday morning beginning at 5:00am. Then the new missionaries begin arriving in the afternoon. The Latin's sort of trickle in when they get here. Those that fly in of course are more predictable. The Nortes fly in Wednesday after a red eye flight. It is a very busy time here. The maintenance staff comes in and does a deep cleaning with a staff some 30 people. They really get after it because there is a small  window of opportunity to make it happen.
We are well and happy and enjoying our mission. It seems that there is never a dull moment for us. Tomorrow will be a new day and another new adventure in the land of Eternal Spring.

LOVE you ALL
